Distribution Area

Network Tasman's distribution network distributes power to more than 42,200 consumer connections. This covers an area of 10,800km2 in the northwestern corner of the South Island.

Our network provides an open network to all consumers.  Network Tasman takes a neutral role between retailers and generators in the region.

We work closely with a range of customers including Retail Service Providers, local developers, and councils to ensure that businesses, our communities and schools in the region enjoy high-speed internet connectivity.
