New Clock for Queen Street

Consumer-owned electricity lines business Network Tasman Limited is pleased to announce the installation of a new digital clock on its property at 281 Queen Street, Richmond. This new display replaces the clock that was taken down in early 2022.

Network Tasman Corporate Services Manager Kerry Haycock said “We are pleased to bring time and temperature back to the people of the Nelson/Tasman region.

The clock has been a feature of Queen Street for a number of years and it is good to finally have a replacement. The building was previously the Head Office for Network Tasman and our predecessor company Tasman Energy.”

The clock has a full LED display that can be controlled remotely and is designed to show time and temperature, as well as other seasonal messages as appropriate. The new digital display unit was manufactured locally by Mat Donaldson from No Limit Engineering and features a full-colour digital LED display system.
